OGS Meetings Sponsorship
The Ohio Geological Society (OGS) holds meetings once per month from November to March each year. Most meetings are held at the Horace R. Collins Laboratory & Core Repository in Delaware, Ohio. You can sponsor a meeting by providing meeting space, a speaker, lunch or just a financial contribution to offset the cost of the meeting.

Workshops and Fieldtrips Sponsorships
The Society offers continuing education in the geosciences for its members, sponsors and the community at large. In addition, course offerings are extended to students at a reduced cost (often free). Our members volunteer as instructors and support. Sponsors are needed to provide the facility, food, and course supplies so that we can offer these courses at a reasonable cost to the widest possible audience.

Golf Outing
The Ohio Geological Society golf outing is an annual event held in the fall at Chapel Hill Golf Course as an opportunity for our members to network with industry sponsors and to raise money for our scholarship fund. Tickets are purchased by attendees; sponsors subsidize food, drinks and prizes.

OGS General Fund Sponsorship
The Ohio Geological Society (OGS) sponsors and contributes to numerous events throughout the year. Most of these are geoscience related activities or causes that merit the support of the general geologic community. A donation to the general fund will be used to fund the various activities such as those outlined below.
